Pakistani media focuses on entertaining its audience by showing images of wealth and power.
What they don't show is daily realities of life of common man:
1). They don't show us that people who have been bombed by our own army are living in camps.
2). They don't show us how our wheat/sugar is smuggled and then sold at a much higher price.
3). They don't show us people who have been abused by religious militants, and forced to leave their villages.
4). They don't show us misery of women who are sole bread earners for their family but are stopped by Islamic militants from getting education, health, shopping and any form of job/career.
6). They don't show how much our police and justice system abuses the common man.
It is the time that our media starts focusing on realities of the common man, rather than glamorizing political power play and life styles of wealthy people.
