There are many indicators to lack of political, military and other kinds of leadership in Pakistan:

1). All major leaders in Pakistan including Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari do not pay any taxes despite having billions of dollars in assets.

2). Major political leaders have failed to challenge terrorism both politically and ideologically . This points to not only lack of political will on part of political leadership but also lack of their commitment to Pakistan.

3). Our leaders and elders are divided by sectarianism, thus paying more importance to sectarian divides than to peaceful coexistence and equality.

4). Our leaders are more interested in dividing national wealth and political power among their relatives. Nawaz, Zardari as well as ordinary officers are an example of this behavior. The merit comes secondary to personal relationships.

5). Our religious leadership is worse than pigs, they preach Jihad and hatred against America, but practically they encourage and endorse murder of fellow muslims through suicide attacks on civilians in Pakistan.

6). Even our army chief wants to settle his children and himself in America and United Kingdom as shown by Musharraf and many of his colleagues. How much can we trust army to be able to defend Pakistan if there is a conflict of interest.

Pakistan needs to take decisive action against militants. This is especially important in Waziristan. However, our military commanders are best placed to decide the timing. As in Swat our army can suffer huge losses if they step in without adequate equipment such as helicopters, drones, night vision, and other forms of electronic surveillance.

The attacks on GHQ , bombings in Peshawar and Lahore have made it mandatory that a punishing response is given to terrorists. Action shall be taken against Mehsud tribesmen in a manner that those who stand against Pakistan are annihilated. We don't need and want any Wazir or Mehsud if they carry out terrorism against Pakistan. The Mehsud/Wazirs shall be murdered indiscriminately unless they stop their against Pakistan.

There shall be no compromise on security of Pakistan. The activities of Americans shall be halted immediately. There are too instances where American diplomats or their henchmen have been found delivering weapons and even explosives, what to say about terrorists.

It has been a very sad day for Pakistan. The Pakistan army HQ has come under attack, and army has failed to do enough to safe guard it. This definitely brings into questions the capability of the army to secure critical assets related to defense of Pakistan. Pakistan army is failing to develop into an intelligent, modern force that has understanding and capability to challenge to address challenges of extremism and internal/external security.

Pakistan army is a force that is focused too much on domestic politics, and various business oriented enterprises such as industry, plots etc. The shortcomings of Pakistan army and its professionalism are now being exposed in this critical junction of our history. Today's happenings are showing that Pakistan army is a failing institution that needs to to reinvent itself in order to save itself and also Pakistan.

Today, I also attended welcome party at my university. I was supposed to go to Islamabad for registration of my car, but then decided not to go at the last moment because of the feeling that it would not be appropriate because of lack of staff in government offices on Saturdays.

I was very sad because of what is happening in Pakistan and requested the student community to scale down their party and also to finish early keeping in view security challenges. It was sad to see that Telecom faculty did not attend the party although their students are in majority on the campus. The organization of the party was also left to a lone faculty member which showed how pathetic and uncooperative we are as a community.

On this occasion, I also requested the students to express solidarity with the victims of Peshawar bomb blast and with the Pakistan army that is trying to fight this menace. It must be noted that the Director on this occasion expressed sorrow for the bomb blast victims but failed to express solidarity with Pakistan army. This shows the lack of leadership and the confusion that surrounds the war on terror in Pakistan.

Solution :
Download fresh version of OpenGL files from microsoft website, and copy these to respective folders. Here is the link:
